Iraqis voice revulsion over Margaret Hassan killing

The BBC report on how some Iraqis in Baghdad feel about Ms. Hassan's murder by terrorists.

The BBC throw in this odd bit of information at the end of the article.

But amid the sorrow here, some people also wanted to remind us of the daily death toll of innocent Iraqi civilians caught up in the fighting and bombings across the country.

Thousands have died since the invasion in March last year, but their deaths largely go unreported by the international media.

Oh, come now, your being too modest BBC.

Just do a Google search using this as a search input - bbc+iraq+civilian deaths - and you will find tons and tons of reporting by international media, with the BBC right up front.

Well there's a surprise! A search containing the term bbc brings up the bbc "right up front".

Idiot.

You're looking more and more silly by the day.

The BBC reports in its' article "...largely go unreported by the international media".

Yet a search for reporting by "international media" as I suggested, using BBC in the search finds the first article reported by the BBC.

That was the point of using BBC in the search, to see if the BBC themselves had reported on something the BBC claimed was being ignored by international media.

So, how can the BBC claim that "...largely go unreported by the international media" when they are the first result returned in the search?

Unless the BBC do not consider themselves "international media".

I'm for that.

As for these two comments:
