BBC: "TV firm takes rap for Queen error"

The BBC tries to absolve itself from the scandal. Notice the "error"?

But RDF chief executive David Frank accepted it was edited out of sequence.

Mr Frank sent an e-mail to BBC director general Mark Thompson on Monday.

""I deeply regret the embarrassment this has led to for both the BBC and the Queen and wanted to apologise to you unreservedly," he said. "

Now, why would he do that? Here's why.

"David Frank | Chief Executive
David founded RDF in 1993. Prior to this he was a journalist and a BBC business reporter."

And

Stephen Lambert | Chief Creative Officer
Stephen joined RDF in 1998 after 16 years at the BBC where he edited various strands and series including BBC Two’s principal documentary series, Modern Times.

Nice club.
